The vinyl recliner will be used in a sensory room for students that have sensory needs. We are asking for a vinyl recliner because several of our students wear attends and if they would have an accident we can clean the recliner easier if it is vinyl instead of fabric. We provide students the opportunity to access the sensory room throughout the school day. The sensory room provides a space for students to calm themselves. We are looking for seating for these students while in the sensory room. We provide music and lights to make the space calming. We have a variety of seating choices but we need a choice for individuals that are not able to easily get on and off the floor. A recliner would allow them to move from a adaptive chair/wheelchair onto a space in the sensory room.
