Students will learn about photography settings. Current and past artists in the field of photography. We will also go on several field trips around Tennessee to help students learn how to become a professional photographer. This will be an intense class set on a block schedule so students will have lots of studio time to practice and learn their craft and explore what it is to be a photographer. All of these supplies will be used on multiple projects throughout the year. Such field trips will be: 1. Historic downtown Franklin. 2. Cheekwood Botanical Garden 3. First Fridays in Columbia 4. Mock Interviews and Weddings where students pretend to be the hired photographer/Videographer.
