Elementary music is all about exploring! My students explore music through singing, movement, games, and playing instruments. As a first year music teacher, I came into a classroom with very few fully-functioning instruments. Whether it is to enforce musical concepts or it is simply for making music together, in almost every music class I teach, instruments are used. I would love to be able to repair the set of xylophones in my classroom, as well as to expand my collection of instruments to provide my students with the most fulfilling musical experiences possible.
