During the past few years, out school has scored low on reading comprehension skills each year. The majority of the students don’t master the skill until the very end of the year. We have tried to teach the skill in many different ways. With society inching closer and closer towards full tech immersion, I believe this will engage the students in a new and exciting way. I believe by adding iPad Minis with reading comprehension apps installed on them, our students’ engagement on the topic will increase, as well as their assessment scores. The iPads will be implemented into lessons by engaging students in reading comprehension and literacy apps.

About my class
