The Year of Billy Miller is a great inspirational book about an end of year adventure. It takes place at the end of second great which is exactly where my students are. It is a challenge to inspire students and get them to love reading by introducing them to new books that they can relate to and providing each with their own book I get to see their love of reading grow! I was able to find two books from the local library. This does not excite the student and it is very difficult to share. I could make copies but the students feel bad having to read off a printed page and they lose interest quickly. I am so excited to go on this journey with my students and would love for each one to get a book.
