Paper and pencil activities are not as meaningful to my students. It's more helpful to them if they can see and touch what we are learning about.
Legos are a versatile teaching tool! Not only can they use their imagination with them they can also be used in a variety of ways for math: counting, sorting, color recognition, multiplication, etc.
We can never have enough books in our room. While the majority of my students can't read they love being read to and they enjoy seeing the pictures.
Anything hands on and interactive is the most meaningful way to learn.
