Acquiring any language starts with the learner receiving input in that target language through listening and reading. In my classroom, my students will read daily in their target foreign language: Spanish. The books received with this project will be the beginning of my Spanish classroom library. When students come into class, they will be able to select a Spanish book and take it to their seat to read for the first 10 minutes of every class. Having a Spanish library in the class will give students lots of Spanish input and really jump start their acquisition of the Spanish language.
