Over the past few years, I have had many groups of students in my classroom who can't sit still at their desks. They tend to be active, sit on their feet and legs, and want to be out of their seats. By having multiple choices of seats for individuals, partnerships, and groups, students will be more engaged with the task at hand. They can move around and be more focused and involved in the work given. The seats I chose can be bounced on, rocked, or laid in so the students feel secure. These seats are especially good for students who have special needs.
