Flexible seating helps students take ownership in their learning by giving them the space that helps them learn the best way that they can. Not everyone learns the same and flexible seating shows students that it is okay to learn different as long as they keep learning. My students come from all different back groups from Special Education to GT and being able to move around and be in an area away from distraction for some kids is what is needed to be successful but for others it might be being in a group. I am asking for some wobble chairs and balance ball seats so my students can use the type of seating that is best for them. sLearning is the goal and whatever I need to do to help my students succeed I want to do for them.
