Our school is in the inner city in an area of poverty. I have a delightful class of kindergarten students every day. I keep very busy but I love my kids because they are trying their best to get along and learn together. Most of my students are Hispanic and Spanish is spoken at home. We have truly formed a community this year. I am so proud that my students have learned so much, especially considering that many of them did not attend preschool. My students are grateful for everything I do for them. I have loved helping them to learn the letters and sounds and especially enjoy seeing them track the text in the books they are just beginning to read on their own. They are happy kids who love learning and deserve to have the materials and technology that other children do. I post projects on Donors Choose to help provide materials for these super students. Thanks for considering our project!
