This donation will help foster independence in my pre-k 3 students. Having a classroom pet helps to promote responsibility. These materials will help my students learn to care for other living creatures. In previous years I have had a betta fish in my classroom. My students loved taking care of the fish daily by helping with the feeding. They most especially enjoyed naming the fish, which we voted on. This helped to promote math skills. I would love to give my current class that same experience, and to help make their first year in school memorable.
