Due to the diverse needs of our classroom, we have been trying to implement different seating alternatives to give us better opportunities to wiggle while still learning! Though my students try their absolute best to always come to school ready to learn, their home lives sometimes get in the way of their basic needs. Having alternate seating allows them to chose what will work best for them to learn, based on their individual needs that day. This particular seating option will allow my students to wobble or rock, which will increase oxygen flow to their brains, blood flow, and core strength.
