The students in Mrs. Meyer’s classroom use the front of the room, which is where our white board is, daily. We use it a lot for whole group instruction as well as small group and independent work time. The carpet would help students sit comfortably at the front of the room during these times. This specific carpet is a bilingual oval shape design that would allow my students to social distance while helping them practice the colors and numbers in English and Spanish. It would also help make circle time more enjoyable with my younger students while allowing my older kiddos to see the board better when reading and writing.
