Breakout EDU is an amazing tool to help my gifted students in all subject areas develop skills they will use every day. I teach gifted education, and using Breakout would take my students' learning to the next level! This project will help my students learn important skills such as creativity, collaboration, communication, and so much more! Plus these lessons will be fun and interactive with lots of hands-on activities and thinking! Breakout is an amazing tool to have for students, especially gifted students. Breakout is an immersive learning tool that brings that challenges of the ever so popular escape rooms to the classroom. It is specifically designed for students in school and allows teachers to create their own hands-on approach for different grade levels and different subjects. I will be able to use this Breakout edition online as well as the toolbox in the classroom. The kit comes with awesome locks and boxes that I can then develop for the kids to figure out the codes and break into the boxes. In the past, I have created my own, but it has taken me weeks. With these tools, I will be able to bring the hands-on learning to the classroom in a more timely manner, adding even more fun for student learning because I will have the support I need in order to plan it just a bit quicker with more tools and options! I have also asked for an ethernet adapter and usb hub to help us stay connected online. I have also asked for storage bins for the classroom, lamps to help the classroom feel more like home as well as provide better lighting, and a few books (and book ends) with lesson plans to help gifted students with differentiated learning in the classroom.
