Students will build confidence in sharing their thoughts, presenting their work and contributing to classroom discussion through the support of my project. Many of my students become nervous and quiet when sharing out to the class. Many students do not volunteer to contribute to classroom discussion at all. Instead of feeling like I am forcing students to share, I would like students to be excited to speak in class and engage in discussion. I will use the Qball in my classroom for students to read text aloud, present their work to the class, volunteer to share answers and critique the reasoning of others. Engagement is key to student success and all students voices should be heard. With the help of the Qball my students will be motivated to engage in the learning experiences of my classroom and have their ideas heard.
