The use of these mini cycles will be used on a daily basis. My students will have the pleasure of using these as a warm-up option at the beginning of each class. These will also be used as an alternative physical activity for students who may not be feeling 100% that day, or if they have another limiting factor that prevents them from running. Sometimes I have a few special needs students who get to join my PE class with the general population. These cycles will allow them the opportunity to engage in physical activity whenever they are struggling with the original activity, or if their IEP indicates other accommodations are necessary. By donating to my project, you will be providing my students a possible once in a lifetime opportunity to use innovative equipment they normally would not get a chance to use. This equipment will be just another reason for the students to be excited about PE class and overall physical activity.
