Children who enter Kindergarten come with a wide background of understanding letters, sounds, words, print, and comprehension. Children that are exposed to books that are rich in print, color, and are age appropriate will help foster their love for reading. That love for reading is created by the teacher. Children who develop a sincere love of reading, become life long learners. To read independently and with expression, adds to the meaning and value of a book. These books in the hands of children in small reading reading groups, will elevate their understanding and importance of being a good reader overall.

About my class
