Please help me to restructure and renovate my Pre-K classroom into a Pre-K palace of learning! The furniture requested in this renovation project will allow students to have a warm and respectable classroom environment that supports social emotional growth, math and literacy skills. The kitchen, food and washing machine ensemble will promote discussion, and help develop oral language and social interaction between students as they pretend to prepare their favorite meals. Students will learn to count, sort and categorize food items. The blue sofa, chair and hand printed rug will create a cozy corner for students. This area will allow students to read, rummage through books and complete writing assignments. The cozy corner will also help to de-escalate temper tantrums and feelings of frustration during the school day. Without functional furniture, its difficult to plan classroom activities that keep students engaged and stimulate learning.
