Many of my students do not have the support they need to learn the basics of life from home. It is very important that we teach common hygiene and how to take care of their changing bodies. Teaching this will create independent learners and students that are confident. Having hygiene products will allow my students to feel clean and confident! My students, especially the girls that will have access to maxi pads and extra supplies would allow them to take of themselves and their needs. These items can be expensive and our families often don't have the extra money in their budget for hygiene products. Funding this grant would greatly help.
