STEM and technology are very beneficial to students in the 21st century. STEM skills can help students solve real-world problems with creative solutions, enhance creativity, and help prepare them for our evolving future. Our school has an amazing Robotics Program, and I want my students to begin with STEM so they can acquire an interest in robotics when they get older. I am requesting LEGO Classic Medium Creative Brick Box Set and Base Plates, KID K’NEX – Oodles of Pals Building Set ,Magna-Tiles Stardust Set, Marble Run Sets for Kids, Build & Bloom Building Set, and the IQ BUILDER STEM Learning Toys Creative Construction Engineering Fun Educational Building Toy Set. These resources will be integrated with my math and science lessons. STEM resources will help my students improve in areas of math such as addition, subtraction, and number sense. In science, STEM will help them to analyze data that is presented to them during science lessons. Many of my students can not bring snack to school because their parents cannot afford to buy them. I try my best to provide snacks for everyone, however it can be very expensive using my personal money. I would like to have snacks in my classroom for students when they need something to eat during snack time. The Nabisco Cookies Sweet Treats, Pepperidge Farm, Goldfish, Crackers,Cheez-It Baked Snack Cheese Crackers, and YumEarth Organic Lollipops and Gummy Bears will give my students a quick snack to keep them content in the classroom. Finally , I am requesting BMOUO Kids Cases, to keep our tablets safe, and a X-ACTO School Pro Pencil Sharpener so my students can have sharp pencils to go along with their sharp minds.
