Flexible seating allows students to take charge of their learning by making daily choices about what works for them in terms of their focus, engagement and comfort. Currently, I am always encouraging students to work around the classroom in an effort to find the place and position that works best for them; however, I find that most of my students choose to stay at their desks because sitting on the floor isn't something that they find very enjoyable. I can't blame them! I truly believe that having these flexible seating options in my classroom will help my students not only academically but socially as well. Please help my students reach their full potential by allowing me to cater to their needs in this way!
