I'm asking for help to purchase a light table and science materials for our classroom of 3-5 year olds. This table purchase would be a stationary item used in many different ways. These science items will enhance our science "center" with living materials. This table would provide engagement to tracing, which leads to handwriting, scientific light experiments, and art and design (featured during our curriculum studies). My students find their own way to identify uses as well, as they are very creative. It makes me proud when I watch them use information and past experiences to enhance an activity or situation. They're smart little people!
