Our school has amazingly given each teacher a license to use the Raz-Kids online reading app, and a bunch of other phonics apps - the problem is, we don't have iPads to get online! I utilize centers every day in the classroom. Right now, most of them are with books and worksheets for the kids to read and use. The kids are starting to want more of a dynamic challenge and are eager to access Raz-Kids. So, I am trying to organize two new literacy centers during our literacy time. One center for reading apps, and one center for phonics apps. With your help donating these iPads, headphones, and iPad cases, students will be able to quietly focus on improving their reading fluency, which will help their overall academic performance.
