I have 5-7 year old students with different types of disabilities in my class, from Learning Disabilities to Autism, to Emotionally Disturbed. Meeting the needs of my students is my number one priority so I can then focus on academics and social skills. Every single one of my students learn differently and so as their teacher, I strive to give my students the tools to assist them in growing their education. With your help, I know these tools such as flexible seating and sensory items will contribute to my cool down zone, where my students can take breaks to regulate. The additional supplies would be used to create projects such as task cards, behavior brag tags, and contribute to the organizational needs my students have by not being overly stimulated by and disorganized class. These donations would be put to use to create learning materials so the students can gain and strengthen their skills to be successful.
