In our district, it now falls to the classroom teacher to provide Physical Education to our students due to budget cuts. Because this is my first year teaching Physical Education, I currently do not have any PE equipment. It is my hope that this equipment will be funded so that I may teach basic sport skills and motor skills to my students, not just running, so that they may feel confident when they get into higher grades and try out for sports teams. I also hope to instill a positive outlook on being active so that my students may live healthy lifestyles.
