My students are interested in learning about the world outside of Texas. My school is an international studies charter school. Instead of going to a comprehensive school where they could be on multiple sports teams and have events like homecoming, they chose to come to our school so they can engage in globally focused curriculum, participate in the Model United Nations class, debate internationally, travel internationally, and become a member of the global community. Many of them had never left the city until coming to our school. This bright, motivated, and inquisitive group of kids wants to take on the world's challenges.

About my class
