This library will give students the ability to not only interact with early reading skills but also build their confidence as a reader. Studies show that kids need books in their hands - regardless of actual reading ability. So many of the building blocks of reading are based on knowing how to interact with text - before you ever sound out words. We want to ensure that our students have the same opportunities (or more) to engage with texts as any other student. Help us make this a reality at GPES next year and help us close the achievement gap as early as possible.

About my class
