Reading in any language can be so exciting and fun, and I want my students to experience that. The Scholastic magazines in Spanish (levels 1-3) are colorful, engaging, and available both digitally and in print. Students will build confidence in their Spanish language ability as they are reading the information and understanding it's content. The colorful pictures will spark their curiosity and make them want to learn more. Helping students build confidence in reading and cultivating their curiosity will help them become lifelong learners. With these colorful, engaging Spanish magazines my students will benefit whether learning in person or digitally. Because of the Covid-19 situtation, students will be learning digitally, and therefore will not have access to my classroom library. Since these magazines are available digitally, I will still be able to provide my students with authentic, engaging, interesting and current reading material.
