The materials will be used by students to complete breakout games. This is similar to an "escape room" experience. These breakout games are created by me, and based on my science and math curriculum. Students have several locks that they need to figure out the codes to open. Once they have opened all the locks, they will be able to open the box to win. Students love these breakout boxes; they are able to demonstrate their knowledge of the curriculum to open the locks and break into the box! Students will work together in teams to open the boxes. This is a great way to review curriculum at the end of a unit as well as to introduce/preview new curriculum. I teach both Science and Math and will use in both classes
