School isn't what it used to be! When I was in school, computers used MS-DOS with dot-matrix printers. Today's schools are filled with amazing pieces of technology. It is with that technology students are able to access the curriculum and complete homework assignments and projects. Chromebooks offer students with special needs much-needed access to reading and math interventions. This is important to my students' success in the classroom. Many of my students perform below grade level in reading, math, or both. This prevents many of them from being able to be in class with their same-age peers as they require direct instruction in those areas. My goal is to increase their reading and math levels so that at some point they can rejoin their classmates for instruction within the general education classroom.
