After 16 years of teaching, I am back at Barton! I work with 3rd and 4th grade students at Clara Barton Open School. I have a mixed grade, mixed ability classroom. My students come from diverse backgrounds and have a wide range of skills and abilities. At Barton we provide a learning environment that is student centered, hands-on and interdisciplinary. I strive to make learning fun and meaningful with my students by providing them with opportunities to be leaders in the classroom and take ownership over their learning.
