For this project, we are asking for technology to create news media (broadcasting, live coverage, photojournalism, etc.). The equipment being requested already has a role in a student-developed "plan of action". In other words, my students have projects in mind and know how this technology is going to be used. We just need your help in getting these items through the door! For example, the camcorder will be used to create a news broadcast (highlighting recent school, community, state, national, and world news). The digital camera, on the other hand, will be used to add photojournalism. The microphones and voice recorders will be for conducting professional interviews. The miscellaneous items were added to ensure this new equipment is well-taken care of and is compatible with the technologies already available. I have seen the passion my students have for journalism and I know this additional equipment will provide them the chance to further explore their interests and different areas of the field. Thank you for your help!
