Our students are always very eager to enter the music classroom. No matter the activity that I have planned they always approach it with an open mind and an eager spirit. Our school struggles with funding and this affects the availability of supplies and equipment for the music room. The kids rarely ever complain about the lack of music equipment and are generally appreciative of everything that is available to them. Recently during a lesson on the string family that majority of my classes have expressed interest in learning a string instruments. With these ukuleles, I will be able to teach kids how to play instruments that they are interested in and hopefully build upon the music equipment available at the school for all students present and future.
