My classroom is need of a writing station for whole group lessons. Having an easel will help me create a space where I can model good writing lessons and let my students share ideas and use their imagination as we create writing pieces together. In a world filled with technology and devices, I want to spark my kids imagination through paper and pen. They will be able to see how to brainstorm, plan, edit and create a final draft as I model. They will then be able to go back and independently create their own writing piece. These materials are vital in fostering my students imagination through words.
