Music and Movement is a way for preschool aged children to get the wiggles out before a story time, circle time or learning experience. Once they have those wiggles out we can focus on what Ms. Jennifer is talking about. It gives them a chance to rest and learn at the same time. Plus music and movement during that times gives them directions to follow, it gives them exercise and also have some FUN. Experiences with music as a learning experience they are learning math, science and socialization skills. The children can experience how instruments work, how to make the instruments be LOUD or very soft. Plus my students will have socialization skill learned by sharing and taking turns.
