These 3D pens will be available for all students in my school K-12. Students will get the opportunity to advance their spatial understanding while being engaged and learning. One day I drew a 3D box on the board in Library class to help explain a vocab word, and one student was so distracted by trying to figure out how the object I drew in 2D looked like a 3D box. I don't think this student got past this spatial difficulty to pay attention to the meaning of the word. I believe that if we help students learn spatially it clears the way for so many other skills. When you donate to this project you will be helping students from grades K-12 in our school learn how to create, build, understand, and problem solve. Not only will I use these 3D pens in my Makerspace of the Library but teachers will also be able to check them out to help their students build 3D models of a cell or any project they can think of!
