Many of my students struggle with learning, focusing and functioning in the general education classroom. By having alternative seating, my students will have an opportunity to learn content without having to stay still. This will help them be more engaged in their learning which will help them be more successful. I also work with a lot of students on behavior plans and alternative seating will help to reduce inappropriate behaviors. Students will be able to choose to sit on the balance balls, chairs or pillows on the floor which will empower them to make choices that best benefit their learning.

About my class
