By recieving these LEGOs in my classroom my students will be able to create various hands-on projects and informal assessments to learn and grasp new concepts. An example is learning how important it is to be detailed in creating their list of procedures in their science fair projects. Students will take various LEGOs and build towers. As they assemble their towers another student will need to write down their process. When students finish their towers they will disassemble them and give the same LEGOs to another group of students in the classroom, along with their procedures, to assemble the tower exactly how they assembled it. This shows students how important it is to not leave out the simpliest of steps in their procedures or else no one will be able to recreate it the same way. My students love creating projects and have truly shown interest in LEGOs outside of the class. So, I think by having these within the classroom to use in math, science, and various subject will helps those students who might be on the edge of grasping a new concept, give them that extra bump to soar into fully grasping it to the fullest. It will also help to engage students by bringing something they love into learning. They various uses for learning and I would love to impliment them within my class to help my student succeed in their education.
