Have you ever experienced pink eye? I have and it's not very comfortable. Unfortunately, this is a very contagious disease. The bacteria or virus that can cause this disease can be spread from person to person by the use of safety goggles in a laboratory without proper sanitation. My high school chemistry lab does not have the proper cabinet to sanitize the safety goggles. These goggles are used over and over which increases the spread of conjunctivitis. There is a simple solution: the purchase of a safety goggle sanitizer cabinet. Please help keep my students healthy by funding this project.
