My students need Chromebooks to create an engaging and motivating environment. Students will use them to gain word processing skills needed in the fast pace world. They will use them to complete research, have multiple means of representation, and learn to create an online portfolio. Due to the lack of technology resources within my school, my students are in a disadvantage. Learning computer-based skills is essential in this day and time. My students need to stay connected and engaged which can be achieved with these Chromebooks. Students must recognize the rights, responsibilities and opportunities of living, learning and working in an interconnected digital world, and they act and model in ways that are safe, legal and ethical to succeed.
