Help my students get their own set of class headphones and other supplies! We mainly need headphones for Waterford and iReady instruction, which are programs that take each individual student's strengths and weaknesses in reading and math and create specifically targeted lessons to support every child. My students do not have the supplies needed to make these instructional programs a success. Many of my students cannot afford to bring their own headphones to school, which impacts their overall academic growth. Today's students are held to higher standards than ever before, and they are expected to concentrate and focus on their work. With these programs, there are lots of educational songs, games, and activities that teach and give extra support to my students, however, the noise that these songs and games make is a detriment to the students who need this help the most. It is very difficult to focus and learn when twenty iPads are playing a jumble of different distracting sounds. Please help my wonderful students be the best they can be!
