Often times, budget constraints further limit challenging schools. Printmaking is somewhat specialized with some foundational materials being necessary. Furthermore, the art of printmaking lends itself to other life lessons. Printmaking is enjoyable not only for its means of creating multiple prints but also for the residual prints and after prints which can be even more intriguing and beautiful. The idea that "mistakes" can generate greater fruit is a life lesson. Class set of gell prints can be re-used for many years, allowing students a first-ever chance to learn printmaking! Furthermore, paint and paper will be used to create prints. Art is a costly endeavor. Cost should not be a limiting factor for some students because of challenges in familial or community contributions. The most inspiring artists and individuals spring and blossom under the tutelage of life's struggles and serendipitous generosities.
