By incorporating iPads into the classroom, my second grade students will be practicing their reading skills. Students will be able to use these iPads to work independently during small group centers. Most of the current state testing is given on computers or tablets, so the iPads will also allow the students to become more comfortable when navigating on these devices. The cases will ensure that the iPads stay safe and do not break! Through the use of technology in the classroom, learning can be differentiated to meet the students' various learning needs. There are various apps available that can be implemented during instruction to offer practice, as well as, enrichment activities. This will also help me to better monitor student progress and growth.
