The social sciences need S.T.E.M activities as well! This laser cutter can help me has a Civics teacher incorporate new and innovative lessons to teach History and Civics. How cool would it be to engrave the Bill of Rights on their Civics notebooks? Or Design and build a new monument for suffragist Alice Paul? How about creating magnets or pins that represent our Constitutional Principles? The humanities are often overlooked when it comes to new technologies. Unfortunately, we are still stuck with paper-to-pencil readings and activities while other disciplines move forward with 21st-century skills and tools. Please help me forge a new way to teach History and Government.
