The items in my project will help students to become future mathematicians and scientists. By providing students with hands on learning opportunities, they will be more engaged and interested in each topic. By funding this project, you will allow students to deepen their understanding of mathematics and science for years to come. Math manipulatives will allow students to visualize during our geometry and fractions unit. This will in turn deepen their understanding of the content. A classroom set of headphones will allow students to complete additional research projects and watch informational clips without distracting their peers. Clipboards will give students more freedom when completing their work and enable them to be able to move around the room. Items such as graph paper and a pencil sharpener will assist in day to day classroom functions. Each of the items listed in my project will enhance student learning.
