These novels will allow us to look at war from the enemy's perspective and to see how even during hard times, people are full of grace and determination and can get through even the toughest times. Students will be able to have rich discussions and will not want to put this book down! An Elephant in the Garden will encourage geography studies, literature book talks, and support the needs of all students as they fall in love with an elephant trying to survive the tragedy and destruction of World War II.

About my class
