Going back to school will be a challenge this year. Students need to keep 6 feet apart, but that is near to impossible in a standard classroom. I do not have desks in my room. Instead, I have tables, which will make social distancing difficult. These portable lap desks would really help my students be able to move around the room and still have a work area. We will be using our computers a lot. Doing this on the floor will be hard, but having these portable lap desks will give them a surface to put their computers on when working on the floor. These portable desks will be easy to sanitize after use and be able to be used by different students. This will allow me to teach small groups lessons with keeping social distanced. I have a class of 20 students and I am requesting 10 portable lap desks to be able to have half of my class use them at a time. Having these will greatly impact the success of my students in the classroom this year, while in this pandemic. Thanks!
