As a first year teacher, it is difficult to accrue all of the materials necessary to ensure student success. As my 3rd grade students venture onto their first research project, they need a very vital component, books. Not only do they need basic supplies such as pencils, paper, and highlighters, but in order to complete the project aligned to the curriculum, students need these animal books. Students will research both arctic animals and rainforest animals and then create a presentation of their choice to present their findings. Students will read through each book highlighting and recording information and then creating either iMovies or poster presentations or booklets on their animals. Please help a first year teacher help her students be successful in their biggest project of the year!
