During this jump rope unit, my classes are going to learn everything that goes into jumping rope. They are going to learn multiple different jump rope skills such as single jumps, double rotations, criss cross, partner tricks, and many more. They will be learning the health benefits that go along with jump rope such as how it increases cardiovascular endurance. This is going to be a 2-3 week unit that will be wrapped up with a school wide challenge to show off their jump rope knowledge and skills. My goal for this unit is to show all my students how enjoyable, easy, and important it is to exercise and live a healthy lifestyle.
