Amazon Fire Tablets will be a great tool for students to use to become familiar with technology. The tablets will be used as independent practice when the students can work on their own to develop their skills in math, reading, and science. Technology will immerse the students into a world of independence. The students will learn responsibility as they work individually to become successful. Classroom teachers can use data from educational websites to drive instruction for their students who may be struggling. The tablets allow for the students to show their individual skills. There are educational websites the school uses; i-ready, reading eggs, math seeds, study island, and all can be accessed through the tablet. The tablets will allow for the students to work in a quiet space and do their best work without judgment in a whole group setting.
